AFRICAN GUITAR SPIRIT

African Guitar Spirit is a collective of musicians based in Montreal. This trio of artists is made up of Sadio Sissokho (Senegal) on percussion and voice, Carlo Birri on bass and Gotta Lago (Ivory Coast) on guitar and voice. The group African Guitar Spirit, recipient of the 6th Prize for Cultural Diversity in 2015,   merges African music with blues and jazz, with an urban flavor slipped into all these sounds. The artists are true explorers, with the spirit of performance in their DNA, the three musicians amaze with each performance with their know-how.
