Alpha D, auteur-compositeur-interprète aux racines multiethniques, fusionne reggae, chanson française et rythmiques africaines. En 2019, il s’installe au Bénin et collabore avec The FiyaBro’s, un collectif de musiciens aux influences jazz et africaines. Ensemble, ils enregistrent Jeunesse Africaine, un son 6ème album, mais le premier enregistré à 100% avec de vrais instruments et en Afrique. Inspiré par la dubpoetry et la culture Rastafari, Alpha D chante en anglais et en français des textes profonds et engagés.

Alpha D, a multi-ethnic singer-songwriter, blends reggae, French chanson, and African rhythms. In 2019, he moved to Benin and teamed up with The FiyaBro’s, a collective of musicians with jazz and African influences. Together, they recorded Jeunesse Africaine, his sixth album and the first fully recorded with live instruments in Africa. Inspired by dub poetry and Rastafari culture, Alpha D delivers deep, socially engaged lyrics in both English and French.
