Déjà tout petit, il jouait de la batterie qu'il fabriquait à partir de cartons et de boîtes de conserve. Il est remarqué et engagé par l'orchestre Les Mewlessel avec lequel il a entrepris ses premières tournées internationales.
De la Garde Républicaine, il est passé à l'orchestre de la RTI avant d'être recruté par l'orchestre philharmonique de la Gendarmerie Nationale d'Abidjan.
En 1999, Momo Soro s'installe au Québec où son talent est très vite reconnu et obtient un disque d'or en 2005 avec son groupe. Aujourd'hui, il évolue avec sa formation Z'wa (joie).

Even as a child, he played drums, which he made from cardboard and cans. He was noticed and hired by the orchestra Les Mewlessel with whom he undertook his first international tours.
From the Republican Guard, he moved to the RTI orchestra before being recruited by the philharmonic orchestra of the National Gendarmerie of Abidjan.
