EN SAVOIR PLUS

NINO & ELECTRIC SOUL is a Soul and RnB band. Noah Casseus, leader of the band, calls it Electric Soul. Their music is good for the soul while provoking electric energy. The group draws a lot of inspiration from Anderson Paak, d'Angelo, Marvin Gaye and many other legends of black American music.

Noah Casseus, musically known as Nino Flamenco, writes and plays guitar and also takes care of the musical arrangements and the direction of the group.

Since his early childhood, he grew up in music alongside his mother, singer Sylvie DesGroseillers. He continued in music through the death metal band Blisstonia to finally find something that resonated more with him at the time: flamenco and Latin culture.

In 2019   he enrolled in the Cégep Saint Laurent jazz guitar program to learn the source of his favorite music. During the very first lockdown, he honed his skills practicing solos from the great Wes Montgomery, and over the course of the school year, he learned several great techniques on improvisation and transcription. During the summer of 2021, he put together some songs he had already composed and created his group called Nino & Electric Soul.
