Venez nombreux appuyer le vote d’un jury de professionnels pour choisir les 3 artistes qui se rendront en finale.

Assistez aux concerts des 18, 19 et 20 avril au Club Balattou et encouragez votre artiste coup de cœur !

Vous serez invités à remplir un bulletin d’évaluation, il est important d’ÉVALUER les TROIS FORMATIONS de la soirée et d’assister aux trois performances.

▷ ABONDANCE | Électro-Caribéen (Guadeloupe, Martinique)

Abondance est un projet électro-carïbéen qui se veut rassembleur, multiculturel et accessible à tous. Le concept artistique mêle les sonorités des “îles” aux sonorités de la “ville” en incluant à la musique antillaise des sons propres à l’électro, et  à l'inverse, en ajoutant des rythmes et des couleurs antillaises à la musique électronique.  Ce projet musical raconte l'histoire de toute personne ayant quitté sa ruralité pour s'installer dans un nouvel environnement urbain jusqu'à y atteindre l'abondance.  "Nos influences sont multiples mais on peut retenir Patrick Saint Éloi, Eugène Mona, Kaytranada, Lane8, Darius et Disclosure." Le style oscille entre la musique traditionnelle antillaise comme le Zouk, le Gwo Ka, le Carnaval et se mélangent avec la House, la Pop, la Dance/Électronique et même le funk.

▷ EL BALCÓN | Son jarocho (Mexique)

El Balcón est un groupe montréalais formé de 6 artistes aux origines diverses. Se considérant comme une famille, ils  innovent en s'inspirant de musiques traditionnelles qui les passionnent telles que le Son Jarocho du Mexique et divers styles du monde oriental et d'Europe du Sud-Est. Une jarana, un requinto, un violon, une contrebasse, un cajón, et une tarima accompagnent le chant solo ou en harmonie de manière entièrement acoustique. Ce cocktail excentrique a comme intention de faire danser tous les âges et d’unir les différences autour d’un moment de joie.

▷ AFIRKA | Rai, Chaoui, Kabyle (Algérie)

AFIRKA est un collectif de musique maghrébine composé de 6 membres. Le groupe joue des sonorités modernes annotées aux grands classiques Rai, Berouali, Allaoui, Chaoui, Kabyle et bien d’autres tout en assumant pleinement la fusion qui en découle. Danse, ambiance et partage font des prestations live d'Afirka une expérience unique.

You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form. It is important to EVALUATE the THREE PERFORMANCES of the evening and to attend all three performances.

▷ ABONDANCE | Electro-Caribbean (Guadeloupe, Martinique)

Abondance is an electro-Caribbean project that aims to be unifying, multicultural and accessible to all. The artistic concept mixes the sounds of the "islands" with the sounds of the "city" by including sounds from the West Indies in electro music, and conversely, by adding West Indian rhythms and colors to electronic music. This musical project tells the story of anyone who has left their rural home to settle in a new urban environment until they reach affluence.  "Our influences are multiple but we can retain Patrick Saint Eloi, Eugene Mona, Kaytranada, Lane8, Darius and Disclosure." The style oscillates between traditional Caribbean music like Zouk, Gwo Ka, Carnival and mixes with House, Pop, Dance/Electronic and even funk.

▷ EL BALCÓN | Son jarocho (Mexico)

El Balcón is a Montreal-based group made up of 6 artists of diverse backgrounds. Considering themselves as a family, they innovate by drawing inspiration from traditional music that fascinates them, such as Son Jarocho from Mexico and various styles from the Eastern world and Southeast Europe. A jarana, a requinto, a violin, a double bass, a cajon, and a tarima accompany the solo or harmonic vocals in an entirely acoustic way. This eccentric cocktail has the intention of making all ages dance and uniting differences around a moment of joy.

▷ AFIRKA | Rai, Chaoui, Kabyl (Algeria)

AFIRKA is a collective of Maghrebian music composed of 6 members. It wants to be with the taste of the modern sonorities annotated with the great classics Rai, Berouali, Allaoui, Chaoui, Kabyl and others while assuming fully the fusion which results from it. Dance, atmosphere and sharing make Afirka's live performances a unique experience.
