MACONE ZWE

Tavonga est un chanteur, auteur-compositeur et artiste qui fait de la musique depuis 1995. Il est tombé amoureux de la musique grâce à ses parents qui étaient tous deux enseignants à l'école primaire Sacred Heart de Gokwe, un point de croissance éloigné dans la province de Matebeleland au Zimbabwe, et tous deux coachs musicaux. À l'âge de 7 ans, Tavonga "Mac-1" Chikwava jouait des percussions (djembé) dans le groupe de danse traditionnelle de l'école. À l'âge de 12 ans, Tavonga écrivait des chansons, bien que de nature mineure. La passion pour la création de sons plus créatifs a grandi et s'est transformée en un rythme du cœur.

En 2008, il déménage à Capetown, en Afrique du Sud, où il rencontre le producteur et auteur-compositeur Wayne Wyne Muyambo."Mr Wyne" Muyambo, qui a présenté MacOne à un promoteur et sponsor musical nigérian, Don Dennis. C'est ainsi qu'il se retrouve sous le label DonDennis Records, cosigné par Solidridge Ent, qui appartient exclusivement à M. Wyne et est dirigé par lui. C'est à cette époque que naît le groupe Young Hustlaz, avec lequel il enregistre quelques singles, mais qui ne durent pas longtemps. C'est à cette époque qu'il enregistre son premier single House intitulé Africa avec son ancien camarade de lycée et ami de longue date, le producteur Ivan "IXD" Mudhaya avec son écurie Generation-X. Il enregistre également un single hip hop qui se retrouve sur The World Tour Vol-1, un projet lancé par G-Records sous la supervision de Tatenda "Klassig" Chideme.

Tavonga is a singer, songwriter and performing artist who has been doing music dating back as far as 1995. He fell in love with music with the aid of his parents who were both teachers at Sacred Heart Primary School in Gokwe a remote growth point in the Matebeleland province of zimbabwe and were both music coaches. At a tender Of 7, Tavonga 'Mac-1' Chikwava was playing percussion drums (djembe) for the school's traditional Dance Group. At the age of 12 Tavonga was writing songs though of a minor Nature. The passion for more creative sound making grew and that graduated into a rhythm of the heart.

The year 2008 saw him move to Capetown, South Africa, where he met with Producer and Songwriter, Wayne Wyne Muyambo, "Mr Wyne" Muyambo who introduced MacOne to a Nigerian music promoter and sponsor, Don Dennis. This later saw him being under the lable DonDennis Records co-signed to Solidridge Ent which was solely owned and run by Mr Wyne. That era saw the dawn of a group called the Young Hustlaz and they did a few singles together, though it was short lived. During this time he recorded his first House single titled Africa with former highschool mate and long time friend and producer Ivan "IXD" Mudhaya with his stable Generation-X. Also recorded was a hip hop single which found its way to The World Tour Vol-1 which was a project rolled out by the then G-Records under the supervision of Tatenda "Klassig" Chideme.
