▷ MAMADOU KOITA - BALAFOLA | Afrofusion  (Burkina Faso)

Mamadou Koita, musicien burkinabé, excelle dans le balafon, les percussions et le n'goni. Issu d'une famille de griots Bwaba, il a appris le balafon dès son enfance avec son père. Au fil des années, il a intégré plusieurs groupes musicaux, dont Sinignassigui et Kankeletigui, et a joué dans divers événements internationaux. Sa carrière l'a conduit à participer à des concerts en Afrique, en France, au Canada et au Québec. Il se dédie maintenant à transmettre sa passion tant aux enfants qu’aux plus grands.

Mamadou Koita, a musician from Burkina Faso, excels on balafon, percussion and n'goni. Born into a family of Bwaba griots, he learned to play the balafon with his father as a child. Over the years, he has joined a number of music groups, including Sinignassigui and Kankeletigui, and played at various international events. His career has taken him to concerts in Africa, France, Canada and Quebec. He now devotes himself to passing on his passion to children and adults alike.
